Hi! It’s me, Miss Army!
From a young age, I’ve been passionate about early childhood education, a fascination that began with babysitting, arts and crafts, and creating activities for children. Over the years, this passion has grown into a deep commitment to providing engaging and meaningful learning experiences. My approach has always been grounded in patience, organization, and kindness, qualities that I began practicing as a child and continue to carry into my work today.
In my teaching, I focus on creating an environment that fosters positive interactions and growth. I believe that the first five years of a child’s life are critical, as their brains are like sponges, absorbing everything around them. This is why it’s so important to provide experiences that are not only educational but also fun and meaningful. Whether through hands-on activities, music, or individualized lesson plans based on each child’s interests and learning styles, I aim to make learning engaging and relevant.
I also emphasize the importance of collaboration with families, ensuring that lessons are tailored to each child’s needs and development. By understanding their interests and goals, I create lesson plans that promote both enjoyment and growth. I believe play is essential to learning—whether it’s through self-regulation in games, positive social interactions, or hands-on exploration.
In addition to supporting children, I also strive to provide resources and guidance for parents and educators. Raising children is no easy task, and I want families and teachers to know they’re not alone. It’s important that they feel seen, heard, and supported. You have a village here, and together, we can help guide and nurture each child’s growth.
Ultimately, my goal focuses on creating a learning environment where children are seen, heard, and valued. I am committed to supporting both children and families and educators in achieving developmental milestones and ensuring that every child’s voice is respected and celebrated.
